Baked Fish Sticks No Cheese

This is a fish sticks recipe with a spicy twist. No cheese is used. This recipe consists of using salmon, you can also try meat of any other fish – No bones or skin. Serve it to your kids sometimes they will just love it with ketchup or mayo.

  • Salmon fish fillet - 1/2Kg No bones/skin
  • Salt - to taste
  • Black ground pepper - 1/4 tsp
  • Ginger - 1/4 tsp crushed
  • Garlic - 1/4 tsp crushed
  • Soya Sauce - 1 Tbs
    For Coating The Fish
  • Flour - 1/4 cup
  • Egg Beaten - 1
  • Bread Crumbs - 1 cup
  • Sesame Seeds - 1/2 tsp
  • Italian Herbs -1/4 tsp (optional)
  • Milk - 1/4 tsp (optional)
  • Oil - for coating aluminium foil


  1. Preheat oven to 450 Deg F
  2. Align aluminium foil on a flat baking tray coat with oil or butter
  3. Take 3 separate small bowls and keep the following ingredients :-
  4. In first bowl - mix flour, salt and pepper set aside
  5. In second bowl - mix the beaten egg, milk,soy sauce, ginger and garlic
  6. In third bowl - bread crumbs mixed with italian herbs and sesame seeds
  7. Now for coating salmon fillet follow the instructions step by step
  8. Coat the fillet in the flour mix (first bowl)
  9. Dip the fillet in the egg mixture (second bowl)
  10. Coat the filled with bread crumbs mix (third bowl)
  11. Arrange each of these fillets on the baking sheet and spray some oil on the top of the fillets
  12. Bake the fish for 7 minutes then flip the fish continue baking for 5 - 8 minutes.
    Note: baking time may differ depending on the fish.
  1. Also, only select fish that has meat for making fish sticks
