Cabbage Thoran
Ingredients
- Cabbage - 1/4 kg thinly sliced
- Onion - 1 small chopped
- Green chilli - 3 nos slit lengthwise
- Turmeric - 1/4 tsp
- Salt to taste or 1/2 tsp
- Coconut shredded - 1/4 cup
- Coconut oil - 2 tbsp
- Mustard Seeds - 1/2 tsp
- Curry Leaves - 1 stalk (~8 leaves)
- Dry Red Chilli - 2 or 3 nos
To temper
Instructions
- Heat oil in a pan and add mustard, let it splutter before adding curry leaves.
- Add onion, green chilli, cabbage, turmeric and salt.
- Cover and cook in low flame 5 mins. saute occasionally.
- Next add in shredded coconut and saute well.
- Continue cooking in low flame for 1 or 2 mins more
- Serve hot with rice. Enjoy!
