Salmon Fish Curry

Ingredients

  • Salmon fillet - 1 lb [you can use any other fish ]
  • Onion - 1 small size chopped
  • Green chilli - 2nos
  • Tomato - 1 chopped
  • Raw mango - 1 small
  • Curry leaves - few
  • Turmeric powder - 1 tsp
  • Chilli powder - 2 - 3 tsp
  • Salt - 1 tsp
  • Water - 1/4 cup
    For temper;
  • Oil - 2 tbsp
  • Mustard - 1 tsp
  • Fenugreek - 1/4 tsp

Instructions

  1. Clean the fish and cut it into 2 inch pieces.
  2. Heat oil in a sauce pan and splutter mustard seeds and fenugreek.
  3. Add onion, green chilli and curry leaves.
  4. Saute well for 1 min.
  5. Add tomato and mango,Saute for 30 seconds or till tomatoes are soft .
  6. Add turmeric powder, chilli powder,salt and 1/4 cup of water.
  7. Bring it to boil in medium heat, then add fish and cook for 10 mins.
  8. Switch off the stove. Serve with rice. Enjoy.
