Green Coconut Chutney

Best chutney to eat for breakfast

Ingredients

    For Grind:
  • Coconut - 1/2 shredded
  • Green chilli - 4 nos
  • Ginger - 1 tsp chopped
  • Curry leaves - 4 leaves
  • Coriander leaves - 1 tbsp
  • Yogurt - 4 tbsp
  • Salt - to taste or 1 tsp
  • Water - 1/4 cup (depends on what consistency of chutney you need)
    For Temper:
  • Coconut oil - 1 tbsp
  • Mustard - 1 tsp
  • Curry leaves - 1 stem
  • Dry red chilli - 2 nos

Instructions

  1. In a grinder mix all the above mentioned( for grind) ingredients together
  2. Grind it for 1 or 2 minutes or blend to a smooth paste
  3. Transfer the chutney into a bowl
  4. Heat oil in a pan over medium heat & splutter mustard
  5. Then add dry red chilli and curry leaves
  6. Saute few seconds, switch off the stove & pour this over the chutney
  7. Serve with idli, dosa & uyunnu vada .
  8. Enjoy with your meal
