Cauliflower Masala

  • Cauliflower- florets 2 cups
  • Onion- 1big chopped
  • Ginger- crushed 1tsp
  • Garlic- crushed 1tsp
  • Green chilli- 2 chopped
  • Curry leaves- few[optional]
  • Turmeric- 1/2tsp
  • Chilli powder- 1.5 tsp
  • coriander powder - 1tsp
  • Garam masala powder- 1/2 tsp
  • Pepper powder- 1/2tsp
  • Salt- 1tsp or as per your taste
  • water- 1/2 cup
  • Oil- 2tbsp
  • Coriander leaves- 2tbsp for garnish


  1. Heat oil in a pan and saute onion until it turn translucent.
  2. Now add ginger, garlic, green chilli .Saute well for 1minutes and add tomato
  3. When tomatoes are mushy add turmeric powder,chilli powder, coriander powder and salt.
  4. Saute for 30 seconds and add cauliflower florets
  5. Add 1/2 cup of water .Cover and cook until almost done and dry or 15 minutes in low heat.
  6. Now add garam masala powder and garnish with coriander leaves.
  7. Enjoy with hot rice or any bread.
